I re-posted this to correct an error in the title that was bothering me. They could easily be included in the box. but common, that's what HDMI adapters are for. I know Elgato has said they don't want to go down that path because most devices still use HDMI. I just feel it is time for a sub $2000 DP capture card. Just doesn't seem worth the money if it can't actually give me a clean setup that eliminates my main system from having to use system resources. NDI works great, and frankly 3 - 5% CPU usage for either that or screen projector seems like a small performance cost to save me nearly $600 CAD.

Save the money and stick to my current setup of using the projector or NDI.

I was considering upgrading to a Elgato 4k60 pro, but if I am to have the same problem once I get a new monitor I don't know why I would spend the money. I cannot mirror displays because then my 144hz panel is locked to 60hz, or of not locked performs oddly. The resource usage is small, but to me the entire point of going with a duel PC setup was / is to eliminate any performance loss on my main system.

I am either using NDI, or I am using OBS full screen projector. I cannot get a clean setup where my main PC isn't having to use system resources to get my screen onto my streaming PC. I run a duel PC setup and have had a persistent problem for years already using my HD60 PRO.
